How much does PerfectSwing cost? +

PerfectSwing Pro is $9.99/month or $59.99/year, with a 1-month free trial — every feature is unlocked during the trial. By comparison, SwingVision Pro is $14.99/month or $179.99/year. Watching rallies that someone shares with you is always free; no sign-up needed.

How accurate is the rally detection AI? +

In our internal testing, PerfectSwing’s rally detection scores F1 0.84 — close to the human-rater baseline of F1 0.88. In practice, that means rally start/end timestamps line up with what a careful human reviewer would mark, with very few missed or extra clips per match.

Does PerfectSwing work on Android? +

Yes — there is a native Android app on Google Play, and it runs even on budget devices like the Galaxy A13. This is the headline difference from SwingVision, which is iOS-only. The web share viewer works in any modern Android browser too.

Do I need a special camera or court setup? +

No. Any phone or tablet camera works — phone on a tripod behind the baseline is the most common setup. There are no court markers, no calibration, and no tagging device required.

How long does it take to process a one-hour match? +

A one-hour singles match is typically processed in a few minutes, then ready to scrub through. Once it’s done, exporting a highlight reel is fast on both platforms and up to 20× faster on iOS thanks to a custom highlight pipeline.

Does it work for doubles? +

Yes. Rally detection works for both singles and doubles. The AI identifies ball-in-play time regardless of player count.

Can people watch my shared rallies without installing the app? +

Yes. Share links open in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Recipients get the playback controls — slow motion (0.25×–0.75×) and frame-by-frame stepping — without signing up or installing anything.

What angles work best? +

Behind-the-baseline elevated angle (about 8–10 feet up) gives the cleanest detection. Side fence angles and lower phone-on-tripod angles also work well. Avoid extreme low angles where the net occludes the far baseline.

Can I export individual rally clips as MP4? +

Yes. Each detected rally can be exported to your camera roll as a standalone MP4 file, ready to drop into iMovie, CapCut, Final Cut, or any other editor.

How fast is customer support? +

PerfectSwing has an in-app developer chat — most questions get a same-day reply, often from someone who can fix the issue directly. Feature requests and bug reports typically ship in a 1–2 week patch cycle, not a quarterly roadmap.

What do real tennis players say about it? +

A user-written post about PerfectSwing on the r/10s subreddit reached 70k+ views and 250+ upvotes — see the Reddit post ↗ . The Android app is currently rated 5.0/5 on Google Play across 100+ reviews . Global downloads have crossed 10,000+ .

How is PerfectSwing different from SwingVision? +

Both apps auto-cut matches into rallies using AI. PerfectSwing has a native Android app, browser-based share playback, faster highlight export (up to 20× on iOS), and lower pricing ($9.99/mo vs $14.99/mo). SwingVision currently has a more mature stats layer — PerfectSwing is shipping that next. Full comparison at /compare/swingvision.

Does PerfectSwing track stats like winners and errors? +

Stat tracking (winners, unforced errors, shot type, court placement) is on the roadmap and not yet shipped. Today, the app focuses on rally segmentation, frame-precise study tools, and shareable highlight clips. AI swing assist is in beta for studying form on individual shots.

Who makes PerfectSwing? +
